HI everyone, I don't use any sprays or pesticides for my veggies and garden. One of my greatest pain going pesticide free is dealing with leaf miners. They really do leave an ugly sight on your vegetables. We all know the hard work in growing the veggies but then seeing them going into the bins is just heart breaking!
So to protect my plants or veggies from leaf miners and sometimes, aphids, this is the best way I reckon! Using a pot plant cover. So here's a DIY of my plant cover using very simple materials and tools at home.
No drilling (I am bad in that!), no knocking and no nails whatsoever. I am now going to make more so I will have less pests attacking my veggies!
You can use this same concept to make bigger covers according to the size of your pot and
needs of your plants. The important part I would like to highlight is the rubber tubing diameter must match the stake/wood you use. There are so many possibilities!
