Sweet n Tipsy Oven Jerk Chicken/BEST OVEN JERK CHICKEN

A wonderful marriage between two Jamaican loves JERK & RUM. The chicken is marinated in Appleton Estate Signature Blend Rum and a jerk marinade and then glazed with a sweet rum sauce. It'll have you licking all ten fingers for sure!! This is awesome in the oven but feel free to do it on the grill😁
INGREDIENT LIST:
5 skinless chicken leg quarters
Seasoned salt or Poultry seasoned as desired
2 - 3 tablespoons green seasoning (recipe below)
3 tablespoons jerk marinade (my recipe or product suggestions below)
1 teaspoon browning (burnt sugar)
1 stick unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder or freshly grated ginger
1 3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cinnamon stick
2 cups Jamaican Appleton Estate Signature Blend Rum
1/8 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
