How to knit shadow knit/Illusion knit

Описание: In this DROPS video we show you how to work shadow knit. Shadow knit is an easy knitting technique that provides a fun result. It is worked with two different colors, contrasting colors give the best effect. Knit 2 rows of each color. On the right side knit all stitches, and on the wrong side vary between knit and purl sts depending on the pattern you want to create. The pattern appears when you get a dark ridge in the lighter area and a light ridge in the darker area. In this video we work a simple pattern. We knit ten, purl ten with the lighter color and purl ten, knit ten with the darker color. The work must be seen in a special angle to see the pattern. When you move the work it shows a shadow effect, and the pattern changes appearance by how you move it.

In the video we work like this:
Row 1: Knit all sts with the darker color
Row 2: Knit 10 sts, purl 10 sts with the darker color
Row 3: Knit all sts with the lighter color
Row 4: Purl 10 sts, knit 10 sts with the lighter color
Repeat row 1-4.
