Nicknamed "The Menace Video", this project began all the way back in early 2025 as an idea for a 300 subscriber special. For our 100 subscriber special, we RMCed a wooden coaster; for our 200 subscriber special, we RMCed a wooden coaster, so it became tradition to celebrate every one hundred subscribers with an RMC video. However, we had some problems. The day we hit 300 subscribers was the same day that Overbank made his debut, January 15th, 2025. Now there were four of us that needed to RMC a woodie. Not only this but we were also completely unprepared because you guys kept subscribing too fast lol.

We knew that the coaster we were going to RMC should be built by someone else so that one of us doesn't construct a wood coaster with particular elements in mind. Initially, we were planning on having ‪@kingIVnl2‬ make us a woodie, but this never happened for some reason. About a month goes by before one of us actually does something. I had been subscribed to ‪@haleyswag‬ for some time by this point and I knew about this CCI she made a few months prior. So I sent her a message over Discord on February 14th, 2025, asking if she would be okay with the concept. She immediately responded and said yes, probably assuming everything would be completed within a couple months.

The four of us got started on our layouts right away, finishing them in about a week from the initial message with Haley. Most of our layouts actually went through a few different iterations. Overbank made three different layouts before finally settling with the one in this video. I believe Levi made two versions and was happy with his second one. I actually stuck with my original version for a few weeks before I redesigned my ending to add an extra bunny hill. I think Lexi's RMC was the only version she made. All of our layouts were put into NoLimits 2 and then some basic support work began. We ended up finishing all of our coasters within a month or two and I was finally ready to start the videos for it.

Here's where all the time went. I thought all of our coasters would've taken like 2 weeks to fully complete. Since it took so much longer than that, I started to lose motivation throughout the project. Pretty much right when I got to the drop of the song, production started to slow down. I would take week long breaks at first and that eventually turned to months. Most of the time when I opened the project to start working on it, I would watch what I've already made and immediately hop off. Occasionally, there would be random surges of motivation and lots of progress would be made. This would not be enough to complete it though, as I hit a wall after finishing about two-thirds of the video. This was at song's second drop. My problem was trying to figure out how to make it just as interesting as the first drop, and it didn't help that this drop was much longer in duration.

After several months of ignoring the project, I finally decide to push myself and come back to it. Something that had been in the back of my head was ending the video earlier in the song, but there wasn't really a good part to end on. I ended up playing around with the song on multiple audio layers and seamlessly shortened the song by like 20 seconds. This was also a huge motivator because by this point I only needed about 35 seconds of footage when it WAS 55 seconds. Thankfully, I was able to pull it off and this was the final result! This has been a huge pain to make.
