Spending too much time concerning yourself with the unknown or the uncontrollable can only lead to one of a few negative outcomes; Worry, doubt, fear, anxiety, unnecessary stress, depression, and the list goes on.
I want to start that business because I think it's a really good idea, but what if I fail?
The coworkers will laugh at me. My siblings will think I'm just like my father. My girl/boyfriend will think that I'm a failure.
These negative thoughts and outcomes typically spiral into more severe issues like mental illnesses, sicknesses, and/or diseases. Plus, each of those also effects the people around you and how people interact with you.
One of the best answers that we've found to these thoughts is what we like to call the "So-What" principle which simply means letting go of what's out of your control and focusing on what you can.
If the business doesn't work you can go find a job, develop your skills and knowledge more, save up money, then try again with a better understanding of how to succeed. Simple as that.
