P.S — On top of all this, the data the companies use are samples of the DNA samples. No one is looking at all of the billions of the ATGCs in your genetic code, they’re only taking chunks, sections and only looking at those. AND they’ve only sampled recently, not over the centuries either (which would seem to be important). Maybe someday we’ll have DNA evidence to test all these things, but for now we’re just looking at a tiny fraction of a tiny fraction of the population from very recent time.
