Asana: Ardha Pincha Mayurasana
Brief alignment: Start from forearm plank, wrapping the left hand around the right fist. Engage your core. Lift your hips and walk the feet as close to the elbows as you can. Lengthen the head down as an extension of the torso. As you drop the shoulders away from your ears, soften the front ribs in.
Benefits: Tones the core, stretches the hamstrings, strengthens the forearms
Contraindications: Hamstring and elbow injury
