Modded Westinghouse Traction Elevators (TO BE MODDED AGAIN!!!!!) at The Hyatt Regency, Sarasota, FL

Despite the Disgusting Innovation Decorator Mod done back in the 90s, it was likely only done to the fixtures (as at least the service elevators still have the original relay controllers and motors), and these still have plenty of character!!! BEAUTIFUL Sounding ORIGINAL Westinghouse Dinner Bells and Lanterns, and also ORIGINAL Interlocks and Door Equipment with the EPIC, AUDIBLE RUBBER BAND DOOR OPERATOR!!!! My first time hearing one!!!! These appear to be on their original motors and controller as well judging by how they run and the service elevators which have a very similar mod but with Universal, although a voice was added. The mod was supposedly done by Schindler, but Schindler may have just slapped their label on and maintained these at one point. I'm thinking the latter as the mod looks so generic and the voice isn't the Schindler voice. Unfortunately, as you can see, these are in the process of being modded AGAIN, possibly totally replaced, by an Unknown Generic Company with Innovation Prestige fixtures, new doors, lanterns, controllers and likely new motors and cabs, and everything, so all of the Old Westinghouse Character that was still remaining with the first mod will go away.... It's such a real shame, as even though they were already modded, they still had a ton of Old Westinghouse Character from the Rubber Band Door Operators to the EPIC Dinner Bells and Beautiful Original Lanterns, and it is incredibly pointless as these run just fine, but at least I got to ride these before hand. At the time this was taken, the far left elevator was replaced and had it's indicator lit, but wasn't running yet at the time of this video. The rest were still original from the previous mod featured in this video as you can see. That all being said, enjoy the video of some Modded, yet still fun Westies that are sadly going to soon be totally replaced according to a staff member who talked to ElementElevators….

Modernized:
1st Modernization: Circa 1990s or 2000s (Unknown, possibly Schindler with Innovation Decorator replacement for COPs and Call Stations. Motors, Controllers, Dinner Bells, lanterns, door equipment and doors all appear to be original and left as is from installation date though.)

2nd Modernization: Late 2018-Early 2019 (Unknown Company, possibly being totally replaced with New Doors, Innovation Prestige fixtures, new lanterns, new motors and controllers, etc...)
