very happy to have made the journey from Melbourne via Albury to Wagga to ride the picnic train to Cootamundra. I specifically wanted to be back at Bethungra spiral again both to ride a steam train and to film. unfortunately when I filmed the afternoon train, the glare and sun reflections played havoc and I had to literally guess if the angle is right either way, it was an unforgettable experience and did plenty more train spotting while I am on the main south line.
very happy also to have seen and rode on the picnic train hauled by R766. I hope to be back for another picnic train ride soon. thank you to the train drivers and crew. appreciate all your efforts.
