Mauve/pink paint in living room - Autumn Mums by Sherwin Williams
Yellow front door/kitchen door - Spicy Mustard by Glidden
Blue sunroom/bedroom door - Someday by Valspar
Curry Chicken and Orzo Recipe (roughly, I made it up as I went)
1 lb chicken breast (I prefer using thighs but grocery store was out)
0.5 cup plain greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
seasoning (roughly 1 tsp of each) : paprika, ginger powder, cumin, garam masala, curry powder, turmeric powder, salt, pepper
1 can coconut milk
1.5 tbsp red curry paste (I used Thai Kitchen brand)
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cups of veggie stock
1 cup cous cous
1. Make Chicken marinade - add chicken, yogurt, seasonings, lemon juice to a bowl and combine
2. Add 1-2 tbsp of oil to pan on medium heat and once hot, sear chicken on both sides (roughly 3-4 minutes per side)
3. Add in minced garlic and let cook for about 30 seconds
4. Add in coconut milk, red curry paste, and veggie stock, mix well
5. I usually add in another .5 tbsp of salt at this point but it's just personal preference
6. Add in cup of cous cous
7. It should be at a boil, turn heat to low and cover for 10-12 minutes or until cous cous is at desired consistency
8. (optional red onion garnish) slice half of red onion very thinly, cut grape or cherry tomatoes in half (as many as you like), add 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of pepper, combine in a bowl
