Dr. Joseph Sonnier, a respected pathologist, met Michelle Tina during a dance class in July 2011. Their romance quickly blossomed, but it ended in tragedy. Michelle had previously been involved with Mike Dixon, a plastic surgeon who became obsessively jealous when she moved on with Joseph. Despite attempts to sabotage their relationship, Michelle and Joseph remained together. On July 11, 2012, Joseph was found murdered in his home, with evidence pointing to a violent attack. The investigation revealed that Mike Dixon had hired Dave Shepard to kill Joseph. Dixon and Shepard were eventually convicted, with Dixon receiving a life sentence without parole. Michelle continues to mourn Joseph, remembering him as the love of her life.
