Yangs Ramen & Tacos
About a month ago, I visited Yang’s Ramen & Tacos in Castlecrag on their night of soft opening. The restaurant is owned by a friend of mine Chef Lex who has a vast background in Modern Asian and Mexican cuisine.
Lex has converted his old Modern Asian restaurant Yang & Co into a new concept of ramen and tacos. Do not mistake this place for a fusion restaurant. Rather, it’s a fresh concept of two different cuisines of Japanese and Mexican coexisting with each other. Expect Carne Asado tacos made from in-house dry aged beef to tori paitan ramen. The Hakata style noodles used for their ramen are also made in house.
