Battlefield V on XPS 15 9560
Tweaks done to get maximum performance with no thermal throttling:
1. CPU Undervolt: -0.110V
2. GPU Voltage-Frequency curve editing using MSI AfterBurner. Running 1700MHZ at 0.900V so basically undervolting and even higher clock than base clock(1493MHz). +400 Mhz on GPU Memory also.
3. Thermal Padding on VRM sensors to prevent power limit throttling. (Once the ambient sensor near GPU memory reaches 75C, XPS 15 Decreases GPU clock to around 1100MHZ.)
PS: Even after all these tweaks, the GPU power limit throttled in the gameplay but for a very short time. If we compare this to stock, GPU runs at throttled frequencies around 1100MHz just after 5-10 mins of gameplay)
