Ragazze Quartet is the first Dutch string quartet to record all 6 of Béla Bartók's string quartets. Here they present their new album "Bartók Bound, Vol. 2 (String Quartets Nos. 3, 5 & 6)".
Ragazze Quartet tells us: "Five years ago, we declared ourselves Bartók Bound. In so doing, we committed ourselves for an unlimited period to the fascinating music of an assiduous and headstrong Hungarian."
Both Bartók Bound, Volume 1 (String Quartets Nos. 1, 2 & 4) and Bartók Bound, Volume 2 (Strings Quartets Nos. 3, 5 & 6) are recorded by Jared Sacks in Renswoude, The Netherlands, and released on Channel Classics Records in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
