What a Friday to remember at Hamilton Middle School! 🖤💛
HMS hosted a Unified Basketball game during the school day against Zeeland Christian School, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The entire 5th and 6th grade student body packed the gym—cheering (for both teams), chanting, waving handmade signs, and bringing nonstop energy from start to finish. It was school spirit at its best. 🙌
Special Olympics Michigan Unified sports bring together students with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team, competing together and building friendships through sports. It’s all about inclusion, teamwork, respect, and belonging—and Friday’s game showed exactly what that looks like in action. Both Hamilton Middle School and Hamilton High School are proud to be Unified Champion Schools! 🥇
Huge credit to our student-athletes, staff, and the incredible HMS crowd for creating such a positive, supportive environment!
