Hello sewers,
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I am back! and this week I am sewing for the theme 'quiet luxury'.
I really fell in love with this concept of having beautiful, well made, tailored pieces that will fit into a everyday wardrobe and become a staple. We begin this theme with creating the ultimate 'quiet luxury' pant.
The pattern I am using is the Daphne Trousers from Viki Sews. This is the first time I am using her patterns and really loved the overall outcome and fit. I will be adjusting a few small things; such as length, waist width and I will be redrafting the waistband to be a curved waistband to help improve the fit of the waistband at the back.
This pant was initially supposed to be just a muslin first look, but I really fell in love with the fabric (thrifted) and used it as my final make instead.
