Steam Train at Manors Railway Station

Описание: It's not every day that a LMS Stanier Black 5 Steam locomotive comes to our neck of the woods and so we were desperate to see this beautiful train. This one was a Railtour run by West Coast Railways with steam train 45212 at the front and 47832 on the rear.

Of course, it came whilst Tommy was at football practice, as do most Railtours that visit Cramlington on a Saturday. Not wanting to miss it, Tommy and Daddy got up early and headed to Manors Railway Station to see it.

We saw lots of Northerns, LNER Azuma's, TPEs, Cross Country Voyagers and a Lumo in the build up getting beeps and waves from drivers, conductors and driver trainers along the way.

The steam engine itself was stunning as it passed, much to the delight of Tommy, Daddy and the other train enthusiasts who had come to see it.

It stopped at Heaton for a while which gave us time to race to football practice and see it again as it whistled past whilst Tommy was doing some dribbling drills.

We've included a bit of bonus footage at the end of the video which is a video Daddy took whilst at Darlington yesterday. It's a Volker Rail Tamper that was running late and holding up trains on the mainline, including Daddy's back to Newcastle.

After seeing some older boys creating videos of trains at our local station, we were inspired to give it a go ourselves.
