Asylum-seekers set to arrive under Rwanda’s new agreement with Britain will be housed in shelters around Kigali with features like private rooms, televisions and a swimming pool.
Only seven migrants remain on the first flight to Rwanda after more than 120 successfully lodged appeals against their deportation.
Some 10,269 have crossed in 321 boats this year, more than double the number at the same point last year, itself a record.
