Why is Self Realization Important for you ?

The Vedas, the Smritis and Itihaas speak of Self- Knowledge alone as the means to Moksha/Liberation.

VedaVyasa declares in Brahma Sutras ( III. IV. I) that Self- Knowledge alone is the means to Liberation, because that is the purport of the Vedas.

Upanishads declare that " Self-Knowledge is the best of all forms of knowledge; it is the highest of all sciences, because through it one attains immortality. "

The Knower of the Atman becomes free from all sorrows & sufferings ( Chhandogya Upanishad)

ब्रह्मविद ब्रह्मैव भवति
The Knower of Brahman becomes verily Brahman. Knowing God is becoming God.
