Cold vs Warm Charging | Which Tesla’s LFP Battery Will Charge Faster?

Описание: In this video, we compare how fast you can charge your Tesla when the battery is properly preheated versus when you plug in with a cold battery. For this test, we put the RWD Model Y up against a single-motor 2024 Model 3 Highland at a 200 kW charging station to see which one reaches from 10% to 80% SOC faster.

Both vehicles are equipped with similar battery packs, with one key difference: the Model 3 Highland’s battery was preheated to 40°C, while the Model Y’s battery remained cold before plugging in.

Throughout the session, we monitored charging speeds and battery temperatures using our advanced instrument cluster, the S3XY Dash.
