The Pasig River Esplanade Phase 4, a key part of the "Pasig: Bigyang Buhay Muli" (PBBM) revitalization project, is now in full construction. This 380-meter stretch is set to create a vital connection along the Manila riverbank.
Key Details and Features
Location: The esplanade runs from the Lawton area, connecting to the existing Phase 1A near the Manila Post Office, and extends all the way to Arroceros Forest Park in Manila.

Continuous Route: Once finished, it will establish a seamless, continuous pedestrian and cyclist path, linking Fort Santiago to Arroceros Forest Park.
Features: The development includes walkways, a new bridge, balusters, and installed lampposts, transforming the area into a scenic boardwalk.
Purpose: Beyond being a leisure spot, the esplanade is designed to promote walking and cycling, attract tourists, and stimulate local economic growth by providing commercial spaces for small and medium businesses.

Construction is moving forward, with a launch originally anticipated towards the end of September 2025.
This phase is one segment of the much larger 25-kilometer Pasig River Esplanade project, which aims to create a long-distance promenade traversing all cities along the Pasig River.
