CIA-FRIMP IEC for Barangays in General Trias featured on Stan Up with Oro

Описание: WATCH: STANUP with ORO featured the Cavite Industrial Area - Flood Risk Management Project (CIA-FRIMP).

The program showcased the activities done by the CIA-FRIMP last April 2 to 4, 2024 in General Trias City and Noveleta respectively. On April 2 and 3, a Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) Training was conducted for the local government of General Trias. On the other hand, an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign for Barangays was held on April 3 in General Trias Sports Park and an IEC Campaign for Schoolchildren on April 4 in Noveleta Elementary School.

The events were under the initiative of the non-structural measures (NSM) of CIA-FRIMP aimed to inform and educate the public on flood mitigation measures by using knowledge, practice, and agreements.
