Описание: 🔎 Unreal Engine 5 – Gate Node Explained
The Gate node is used in Blueprints to control execution flow. It works just like a “door”:

Enter Pin: The entry point of the flow; when triggered, it tries to pass through here.

Open Pin: Opens the gate and allows the flow to continue.

Close Pin: Closes the gate and blocks the flow.

Toggle Pin: Switches the state of the gate; if it’s open, it closes, and if it’s closed, it opens.

🎮 In this video, I show step by step how to control an explosion with the Gate node, using different keys (R, L, or a single key with Toggle).

The Gate node may look simple, but it plays a critical role when building gameplay logic.

---

On this channel, I try to explain Unreal Engine 5 in the clearest way possible for anyone who wants to learn UE5 in its most useful form across different disciplines. I’m focused on logic, not memorization.

I prepare training videos on game development, interactive architectural visualization, simulation, and cinematic production.

Topics I regularly cover or will cover in the videos:

Interactive systems with Blueprint (with C++ notes when needed)

Lumen lighting and Nanite geometry; realistic scenes and optimization

Timeline, Particle System, Control Rig, and Scene Editor for cinematic flow

Architectural visualization and interior setups; scale–material–lighting balance

Interactive prototypes and use cases in military/industrial simulations

While doing something, I explain it, then I explain the logic of why I did it on what I did, and then I show the implementation. If any step is unclear, please write it in the comments; I’ll respond as quickly as possible. I never want you to leave a video with question marks in your mind.
