Today I’m sharing a special performance: “Bartārak-e Sepideh” by Master Ardeshir Kamkar, played on the Iranian kamancheh, recorded in the mountains. 🌄🎶
I didn’t play the full piece, but this music has a very deep place in my heart. It blends the soul of Persian traditional music, the calm of soothing melodies, and the colors of ethnic music. While playing, I tried out a new sound technique in some sections — I personally enjoyed the result, but I’d love to hear your thoughts: do you feel it improved the audio quality? 🙏
Because I recorded outdoors, there’s some wind noise, and I apologize for that 🌬️. If you know ways to make sound clearer without using a microphone, please share your tips with me!
This post is also a little personal. 🍂 Tomorrow is my birthday, and with autumn beginning, this performance feels like a greeting to a new year of my life, as well as a hello to the new season. I truly hope this music can bring you peace, just as it does for me.
