Mars doesn’t welcome visitors—so we land like engineers, not heroes. In this POV first-sol mission, we touch down on a basalt plain, secure the habitat, salvage comms, and start the only plan that matters: make oxygen, make water, and protect biology.
Mission IX - To Plan tree on Mars
You’ll watch the full build chain unfold: ice hunting + drilling, alone, a scaled oxygen production unit (ISRU/MOXIE-style) feeding storage, and a strict contamination workflow to handle toxic perchlorate regolithsafelaeroge that trap heat and form a tiny “oasis” over buried ice.
Finally, we assemble a sealed greenhouse module, verify pressure, recycle condensation, balance CO₂, and plant the first seeds inside a protected bubble. One Martian night later… the gauges hold, the systems breathe, and the first hint of green appears.
