The Dark Knight Trilogy - Dance with the Devil

Описание: Let's talk about Christopher Nolan' The Dark Knight trilogy. Despite what you might think about it (love, hate or you just don't give a shit), most of us can agree that it's really unique take on Batman, superheroes and comic book movies as a whole. It is actually more of an experiment on superhero/comic book movie, than an actual one. There are such different tones here from other superhero flicks. Instead of making another colorful comic book adaptation about superhero fighting a bunch of villains and saves girls, Nolan first takes Batman on an adventure/anti-utopian territory. Then, gives it a crime/gangster vibes. And finally concludes on a war/revolutionary notes. As a result we have an epic story about sacrifes and how illusive can be line between good and evil. I can actually go on forever, but this is not a class essay, so let just say, that this trilogy is probably one of a kind thing, that will last in movie history for a long time. Christopher Nolan changed comic book movies adaptations forever. He proved that these grotesque and goofy characters are actually keys to epic, clever stories about good and evil, justice and corruption. Fear, chaos and pain. Nolan proved that comic book movies deserve more than technical academy nominations. Nolan showed us a superhero like never before and never will be shown again. But his and his Batman time have to pass. It seems like future is welcoming more traditional superheroism, where action and fun prevails over drama and realism (which isn't bad, considering how Marvel Universe turns out and Man of Steel is about to kick some serious ass). But we will feel The Dark Knight's legacy for a decades, seeing how Hollywood producers, directors and writers finally spend serious time thinking about superhero's origins, increase space for villains and don't forget to please the fans. Thank you Chris Nolan, and everybody who helped to bring justice into movie adaptation of one of the most intersting and deepest superheroes of all time (you know, don't forget such guys as David S. Goyer and Jonathan Nolan).

Now about my video. I finally got to look back at the whole trilogy and i'm glad that i had some time thinking this one through. There's actually a few reasons for why i choose such overused song. Well first of all i freaking Dance With The Devil, and i've waited for a long time for a perfect chance to use it. Second, there aren't many actually good videos with this song. Don't want to offence anybody or sound like a jerk, but i think this song deserves a more complex approach. My main idea was to focus on Bruce's path and all the shit he has been through, so focusing also on his two most menacing nemeses was unavoidable. So who is the Dancing Devil in my video? Well...practically every hero or villain character that there is. I also wanted to show how deceptive can be status of this scary, demonic figure in TDK's world, whoever represents him - Batman, Joker or Bane. You know, here's you breaking Batman's back, and here's here punches you through a door. Here's you hit a mirror with a Joker's head and here's he beats you with a pipe and you fall through a glass window. You never know. And even though i focused on these three characters, i was trying to get everybody on board. "Dance" is obviously stands for death game, risk and fighting. Also, i think this video is darker than the Violet Hill one, considering that the ending there left hopes and here it's just looping.
Enjoy watching it, don't think this is my last time working with The Dark Knight universe.
