Ricoh MP5055 SC542-02 Error Reset Tutorial | SP Mode Instructions

Описание: When a Ricoh MP5055 shows the SC542-02 error, the first step is to remove the fuser unit and check for any issues. Inspect the fuser film carefully — if it’s torn or damaged, you need to replace it with a new fuser film, or ideally, install a fully working fuser unit to ensure stable machine performance. Your customer’s workflow efficiency always comes first!
In this video, I’ll show you how to reset Ricoh error codes in the SC5xx series. Specifically, the fuser unit in this case was badly damaged, so I replaced it with another fuser unit. To make the machine work again, I needed to enter SP Mode and clear the error.
✅ Here’s the reset process:
Press Reset 806182, then hold down the Clear button until the SP Mode screen appears.
On the SP Mode screen, enter 5-810, press Enter, then tap Execute on the touchscreen.
Exit SP Mode.
Turn the power off, then back on again.
