I found this in the same shop where I bought my Thomas & Friends: New Style & Fashion Chinafake along with other ones that I bought during my time in Lanzarote in 2022, which was honestly kinda surprising because I actually remember going to Lanzarote back in 2017 and seeing a medium sized Daredevil Funny Car King in another shop, though if I remember correctly one of the wheels were missing and it had some kind of sticky residue underneath the toy. And despite its condition I kinda regret not getting it and at least attempting to fix it up, but I’m pretty happy that I managed to find this one since it’s not really that common to come across.

This particular variant is Lightning McQueen in his Daredevil guide as seen in the Cars Toons: Mater’s Tall Tales short ‘Mater the Greater”, and there have been other character variants made, such as Mater himself and another variant of McQueen that is slightly smaller and doesn’t have the moving side mirrors. The version that I have is quite interesting because it appears to be distributed by a Spanish toy distributor company known as Ousdy, as evident with their logo in place of the original Meitai Toys logo on the top left corner on the front of the box as well as Spanish wording on the rest of the box. They have distributed many other Chinafakes in the past and the last time I checked they might be still around today.
