Co-founders Erin-Kate Howard and Marcy J. Savastano began Lady Parts Theatre Company, after participating in Tony Kushner’s Angels in America together, due to the lack of female-centered theatre in the region. Beth Winslow joined them after returning to Rochester from Chicago. The company’s mission is to produce daring works that challenge, elevate, and enliven by placing focus on female artists. “Our goal is to provide an outlet for adventurous and socially-conscious productions that engage audiences as well as push the boundaries of traditional theatre."
