5 boiled eggs (cut into halves)

2 medium onions (thinly sliced)

2 green chili (chopped, optional)

1 small piece ginger finely chopped

1 tomato (chopped)

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp chili powder

½ tsp garam masala

5 tbsp oil or butter

Salt – as required

Curry leaves and coriander leaves

Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish

All purpose flour (Maida) - 2 cups

1 egg (for egg wash / brushing on top)

Oil for frying
