JAKARTA OLD TOWN TOUR | Chinatown Food and DKI Jakarta Kota Tua Tour

Описание: One of the most unique places in Jakarta is a place called "Jakarta Old Town" - or Jakarta Kota Tua. Here, you'll see Indonesia's capital city a lot like it was back in the 1700s, when the Dutch controlled the country and the commerce here. From the old Jakarta town square to the post office and the Batavia Cafe, it's a really beautiful place to visit in Jakarta.

Too bad that all of the museums are closed on Mondays. We only walked around the Fatahillah Square, the major square of Jakarta Kota Tua.

Kota Tua Jakarta also includes one of our favorite places in Jakarta - Glodok Chinatown. With all the wonderful food, you will understand why. From cakueh - a pastry - to bakso goreng - a fried meatball soup - Chinatown in Old Town Jakarta is a culinary delight. We had our lunch at the famous Bakmi Amoy Glodok, one of the must visit restaurants in Chinatown.

Oh, and did we mention Starbucks? Well, we found one of those nearby at the Kota Tua Train Station as well. It was a great place to get out of the rain! LOL!

Plus, Michael gets interviewed by a group of Indonesian school kids! FUN!

Hari ini kami ber wisata di Kota Tua Jakarta, dimulai dari Taman Fatahillah Kota Tua. Semua museum ditutup setiap hari Senen. Sayangnya hujan, kami masuk ke Cafe Batavia (tapi kemahalan) dan jadinya kami berteduh di Starbucks Stasiun Kota Tua.

Jakarta Kota Tua memang tidak terlalu jauh dari Glodok, jadinya kami mampir untuk kuliner makan di Bakmi Amoy yang terkenal.
