The RiceBowl deep parabolic softbox provides beautiful soft light. The Cheetah Chopstick is a light focusing system that will allow you to use one softbox to produce hard, focused light or soft, evenly spread light or anything in between. Combine the two and you get an amazingly flexible light shaping tool.

With the Chopstick, you can move your light forward and back to change the focus of the light while also adjusting the contrast and specularity of the resulting light output. Use the light "bare bulb" to get the most spread from the light, regardless of the position of the light inside the box. The design of the chopstick places the light facing inward directly at the center of the softbox. This produces a symmetrical light output based on the shape of the softbox.

The Easy Open design of the RiceBowl means the softbox can be setup in about 20 seconds. Adding the Chopstick just takes a few seconds more. The softbox is opened from the rear, so the inner and outer diffuser can be left in place when breaking the softbox down. We do recommend removing the grid to prevent damage to the grid when storing. Note: The Chopstick is typically used without any diffusers or grid in place.

These softboxes are lined with reflective silver material for maximum output. The 16 rod design ensures softbox the maintains a parabolic shape to focus the light. Every softbox comes with an inner diffuser, an outer diffuser and a grid. The inner diffuser has a two stop center panel to eliminate hot spots. Unlike most other softboxes on the market, the RiceBowl comes with a 4x4x4cm grid which is designed to control the spread of the light and create a natural vignette.

Chopstick Features:
