The king falling for the evil designs of the Rajguru sent Tenali Raman to heaven in order to solve his mysterious dream about his forefathers. How Tenali Raman returns with the news of king's forefathers and avenges the evil Rajguru forms the rest of the tale.

The King is a great patron of arts and sciences, and Tenali Raman is one of the eight wise men who adorn his court. The lively court provides the perfect arena for the outrageous battle of wit between Tenali Raman and his adversaries!

Tenali Raman can never resist challenges-verbal or otherwise… and one way or another, he wins out in the end! Greedy courtiers, pompous pundits and any and all inflated egos get a good drubbing each time they cross paths with the Jesters wit!

He is the King’s favorite courtier, but Raman’s popularity has brought him many enemies and often find himself in the thick of plots and schemes set by a variety of strange and outrageous foes. None are as dangerous, however, as the nefarious Tattacharya, the Rajguru of Vijayanagara. He is Krishna Deva Raya’s most trusted advisor, but is also Tenali Raman’s most bitter enemy! He3 and Tingary, his bizarre, half-witted sidekick, are always cooking up strange and evil schemes to slight, sabotage, or eliminate our faithful jester!

But Tenali is a true hero, and like all great heroes he battles back, even against the most devastating odds, and eventually manages to triumph over the Raja guru and his forces of darkness!
