Описание: On January 3, 2024, the Ringwood Borough Police Department contacted the Wanaque Police Department about an erratic driver that was traveling through Ringwood and approaching Wanaque. The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old woman, had allegedly hit a guardrail and continued driving. Officer Pasquariello located the vehicle parked on the side of the road. Witnesses observed the driver walk into a vape store. Officers made contact with the woman and asked her to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was eventually placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence. She was initially transported to the Wanaque Police Headquarters, but their breath alcohol testing machine failed to function properly, so she was transported to the Ringwood Borough Police Headquarters to complete the breath test. The result was 0.13% BAC. After being transported back to Wanaque for further processing, the woman made threats that she wanted to harm herself, so she was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
