"Energy Wave" Runs Compilation (ALL WAVES COMPLETE) | Top 5? (~78-100% + fails) // [READ DESC]

Just a heads up, this level has a weird % bug in 2.2. The progress bar reaches 100% at about what should be 86%. So I recalculated the percentage (time based) for the 78-100% run. This makes my 23% run actually ~21% when recalculated. As for the other runs I don't really care about the percent. Anyway for the real description:

As far as I know I was the first person to do each wave which obviously also makes me the first to do every wave, the distinction being individual parts vs. the collective runs. Very happy with this level and the fact that I was able to push for some sort of progress on this, but I really don't like some of the remaining parts and they are massive chokepoints (23% ship, ending UFO), so I think my progress ends here, unless I decide to connect waves 2 and 3. But with Wave 2 being one of the hardest and wave 3 having a massive chokepoint at the end I don't know if I will. And at that point I may as well learn the UFO and connect it to wave 4, but it's just too far for me. I would like to see somebody else take this level further, and I hope to see it verified and placed in the Top 10-15 by the time it's done. I really don't wanna be this level's entire record history, I want to see this verified one day because I love it and I don't think I could ever do it myself. I didn't ever really plan on committing to this I just wanted to do all the waves and to my surprise nobody else did yet.

I didn't count my attempts for each wave part but I had 3,118 when I got 23% and I ended up with 7,958 attempts by the time I did every wave part and looked at my attempts (I continued playing after so there's a little extra).

Here are some extra notes on each wave part to elaborate on my notes in the video:

1st wave (done first): I really don't know how to judge this difficulty wise. To elaborate on what I wrote in the video, it's weird because this wave is the first one I did but I also did it many times so that I could pass it from 0%. My judgment is clouded but it's either the hardest or the 3rd hardest out of the 3 in my opinion. Sounds weird but I don't really know how else to articulate it.

2nd wave (done third): Easily the most awkward wave, but I love it. Super fun to play, easily my favorite part of the level. Love the song at this part too. This is the second hardest wave and I think I'm confident in that opinion. The first half of this wave gets unbelievably consistent but the second half makes up for it in awkwardness and difficulty. Not much else to say other than the second half of this run is really awkward and I luckily fluked the post-mini part at the very end.

3rd (2.5th?) wave (done last): By far and away the easiest wave in the level, but as I said in the video, the ending is really irritating. I would get there pretty much every few attempts but die to not knowing where to look or how to maneuver. Super odd balancing here, and the last two clicks (the big wave) are gigantic chokepoints and super tight gaps comparatively. Love this part tho but it got kinda boring cuz of how often I would get to the end and die.

4th wave (done second): If the first wave isn't the hardest one then this one certainly is. It has by far the tightest gaps on average out of each wave, and even having done it multiple times I still found it difficult each time. No amount of consistency made this part easy, and I'd say it's the most balanced wave part of the level as well. It's just consistently hard with no stand-out chokepoints. However, the reason I'm in debate with myself over this being the hardest one is because muscle memory made some parts kinda easier than they otherwise would have been if the gameplay was structured a little differently. I also found a skip at the second structure and the ending of this wave is super easy. Not really sure how to feel about it

I streamed most of this experience except when I started it yesterday and got 23%. Everything else after that was streamed and I had a lot of fun. I want to stream more often since I got a new and better PC and can handle multistreaming. It's also nice to get some money on the side since I'm having trouble getting extra hours at my job.
