Today I made a video on the 500 Downtown Direct. Since February 22, 2026, this route was extended to serve Hobby Airport and terminate at Monroe Park and Ride. In the beginning of this video, the bus had some issues that made us get 20 minutes delayed. In conjunction with the delay, we had to transfer buses. Either way it didn’t stop today’s ride. The following stops listed were added in downtown along with the extension:
Northbound:
St Joseph Pkwy @ Main St
Travis St @ Dallas St
San Jacinto St @ Rusk St
Southbound:
Fannin St @ Rusk St
Milam St @ Dallas St
Pierce St @ Main St
500 Downtown Direct:
Northbound to Bush IAH Terminal E
Southbound to Monroe Park and Rode via Hobby Airport
Frequency:
Peak: 30 minutes
Off - Peak: 30 minutes
