God always let the Ark of the Covenant be in front and the Israelites followed behind, when He led them in the desert for forty years and when He let them conquer the city of Jericho and allow them to enter the land of Canaan.

The Church of God members desire to enter the heavenly Canaan by following the teachings of God Elohim who appeared as the Ark of the Covenant and gaining victory in their life of faith, learning lessons from the past history of the Israelites instead of following their own thoughts.

Revelation 14:1–4
“Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion . . . These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.”
