Описание: The Department of Architecture at Brac University celebrated its 22-year journey in architectural education on March 5, 2024. The department, which began with 17 students and three faculty members, has become a beacon of architectural enlightenment, fostering creativity and excellence in its students. Pro-Vice Chancellor Syed Mahfuzul Aziz inaugurated the celebration, visiting the exhibition of undergraduate design studio projects for the 2023 academic year. The exhibition showcases the works of students from 1st to 5th-year levels, from abstract compositions to complex architectural design projects. Professor Fuad Hassan Mallick, Dean of the School of Architecture and Design (SoAD), and Professor Zainab Faruqui Ali, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Architecture, provided insights into the development of various projects. The Department of Architecture has evolved into a dynamic hub for architectural discourse, research, and practice, with faculty members shaping the minds of countless students and instilling a passion for design and responsibility towards the built environment.
