This is my personal arrangement of “Going Home”, the iconic instrumental piece by Kenny G.
I adapted this piece for solo cello as a way to honor those old times — and to express the homesickness I often feel now. The cello, with its voice so close to the human soul, helps me speak what words cannot.
This piece is a quiet reflection — on childhood routines, cultural memory, and the feeling of longing for home, wherever that may be.
