There's been a torrent of bad news surrounding Nvidia's RTX 50 series graphics cards since launch, from melting power connectors and missing ROPs, to retail shortages and blatant lies masquerading as marketing (no, this isn't "4090 performance for $549", Jensen, and you know it)

It would be easy for me to feed into the anti-hype around Blackwell and join the pile on, declaring the whole RTX 50 series pointless and telling Nvidia they should be ashamed of themselves for treating customers like this... but I'm far too tired for that. Here's a review, minus (almost) any drama.

*obviously I have to tell you what the drama is before I avoid it, sheesh.

DISCLOSURE:
The test unit was loaned to me by Asus UK, hence the "sponsored content" flag at the start of the video. I didn't accept money for the review, and neither Asus nor Nvidia gave me any instructions on what to say or what not to say. The test rig also features several components that were provided free of charge by Scan Computers, AliExpress and Crucial.
