Engineers, masons, and planners worked in tight sync, with no fanfare. What was happening? Who was funding it? Where was the press? It wasn’t until aerial footage began circulating on local networks that the world began to understand: Burkina Faso was building a city. But this wasn’t just another housing development. This was something far more radical. As the African Diaspora saying goes, "I am because we are, and we are because I am."
