Join me on a tour of Fraunces Tavern Museum. In this part, we'll visit the George Washington Portrait Gallery, George Clinton Room, and Long Room.
The Long Room is where Washington had his final meal with the officers of the American Revolution and said goodbye to them on December 4, 1783.

We'll also talk about the history of the building. Built in 1719 it is one of the oldest buildings in NYC, and only one of two Georgian period buildings in Lower Manhattan. (The other is St. Paul's Chapel.)
