This year I’m stepping outside my comfort zone with color, details, and my very first colorwork project.

In this episode I’m sharing what’s currently on my needles as I ease into a new knitting year. I finally get to show a finished object that was completed during the 2025 holidays but hadn’t made it onto the podcast yet, the Violeta Pullover by Claudia Quintanilla, along with a small but very satisfying update to my Arctic Light Sweater by Veronika Lindberg after fixing the sleeve length that had been quietly annoying me for ages.

I also chat about three fresh cast ons that are setting the tone for my knitting in 2026. I’ve just started the Robinia Sweater by Anne Ventzel, which marks my first intentional steps into colorwork, cast on the Solange Scarf by Anne Ventzel, a neck accessory I’m absolutely loving, and began the Afra Sweater by Irene Lin, a V-neck sweater full of beautiful and thoughtful details. This episode is all about stepping outside my usual color palette, getting more comfortable with colorwork, and letting myself experiment and have fun with my knitting.
