naVitalo is one of Brabender's industry partners for developing plant-based food products at laboratory scale.
The company from Mülheim (Germany), supplier of ingredients from rice, oat, tapioca and other cereals has run several trials
to test the properties of different proteins in a high-moisture extrusion process. By means of this procedure, the suitability of these raw materials for their application in plant based meat were tested with a promising result.
