I’m used to writing songs that are completely geared down. But when the guitar got plugged in, the message just grew.

You might know this one as ”Find en at gå med,” but it has been transformed into the English rock anthem ”A Friend Like You.”

A challenge from a good friend pushed me to change the language, and it gave the lyrics a whole new weight.

Let’s be honest: sometimes the world just isn't in the mood for beautiful ballads. Sometimes what’s needed is more action, heavy drums, and a guitar that you can actually feel in your gut.

Even though certain people look at things and think everything can be bought or sold, true loyalty has no price tag. Being a friend is about standing guard on the shore when the surf is at its most dangerous. You don’t leave your partner in the lurch just because a "good offer" comes in from the outside. You don’t climb the mountain alone, and you don’t sell out the bonds that hold us together.

There’s a small side benefit to delivering the message in English: now there’s a chance that certain gentlemen across the Atlantic might actually understand it too—if they take the time to listen.
