Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5, NKJV)
Reflection:
Even faithful believers face "what if" moments—those quiet fears that whisper doubts despite our trust in God. Gideon's story reminds us that these questions don’t disqualify us—they drive us deeper. The answer to uncertainty isn't more control; it's deeper surrender. The Hebrew word for worship, shachah, means to bow down, to submit. When we bring our “what ifs” to God in worship, we trade fear for faith.
Practical Application:
1. Write down your biggest “what if” and bring it to God in a time of prayerful worship.
2. Spend five minutes each day this week in silent worship, simply bowing your heart before God.
3. When doubt arises, respond not with worry but with worship.
Closing Thought:
Worship is not the absence of questions—it’s the surrender of them. Bow low, and rise strong.
