Seems to be some confusion to the actual identity of this wreck:
"After re-assessing the wrecks I wrote about off the Tyne and other areas, I am now almost certain that the wreck I originally thought was the Hortense Lee and what is often referred to as the 'Cider Wreck', is in fact the FIRELIGHT, which was sunk without warning 1.75-miles east of the Tyne; and what I had down as the FIRELIGHT is in fact the Hortense Lee, according to the London TIMES and Official Norwegian records."
