The killing of innocent residents in Woro and Nuku communities of Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State has taken a tragic turn, with the death toll now officially confirmed at 75. The figure was confirmed by the Paramount Ruler of Kaiama, Omar Muazu, and Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
During the coordinated attacks, almost all houses and shops in the affected communities were also set ablaze.
Our Correspondent who visited the communities after an arduous eight-hour drive reports that the violent invasion has left scores of families devastated, plunging the area into deep mourning.
