Greetings and welcome back to my Rot-Gut Reaction (see what I did there) series. Today's subject is Illud Divinum Insanus, the 2011 release by Tampa, Florida death metal legends Morbid Angel. This was on Seasons of Mist and featured the return of David Vincent, the departure of Pete Sandoval and introduction of Destructhor on guitar and Tim Yeung handling drum duties.
This is an oft-maligned release and widely considered one of Morbid's worst. How bad is it really?
