Swiss Meringue Buttercream
4 egg whites
16oz/3.5 cups or 1 lb Powder sugar (you can reduce by 1 cup)
¾ tsp salt
1-2 tsp Vanilla extract (or use any flavoring)
1lb or 16oz Unsalted butter, room temperature
This recipe yields 3.5 cups or 830g of buttercream. You can store it in the fridge for 2 weeks. On counter for 2 days and on freezer for 2 months.
Notes:
1- Before serving the cake, leave it out on room temperature for 1-2 hours. Serve cake at room temp.
2- You can store this buttercream out on the ciunter at room temp for 2 days, in fridge for 2 weeks amd in freezer for 2 months! Make sure to put it in an airtight container then put inside additional 2-3 bags to save.
